Onboarding Pain Points with Prop Firms – Specifics on KYB and Withdrawal Processing

Been giving some thought lately to the backend experience with various prop firms, especially after a couple of recent challenges. It feels like the Know Your Business (KYB) and withdrawal processing side of things can be a real sticking point. For firms offering substantial capital, the KYC/KYB is understandable, but the variability in processing times and the hoops to jump through for a first payout can be frustratingly inconsistent. Some firms seem to have it streamlined, others feel like they're still in the stone age, particularly when it comes to international clients. Has anyone experienced significant differences in how smoothly their first withdrawal was handled versus subsequent ones? I'm curious if the initial friction is just a one-time gate or if it's indicative of ongoing issues.

Also, a quick note on spreads and fees – while I understand that prop firms often have different liquidity providers than a retail broker, the sometimes opaque nature of how spreads are calculated during volatile periods, especially on instruments like $DAX or $NQ, makes risk management planning a bit more challenging than it needs to be. Transparency here would go a long way in building trust.

The KYB process is often more complex for firms dealing with larger capital allocations, given the regulatory environment. Regarding withdrawal processing, are you seeing delays primarily with the initial withdrawal, or are subsequent requests also problematic?
