Quick Look: Position Sizing on Polymarket

Been seeing a lot of folks get wiped out on Polymarket lately, mostly comes down to terrible position sizing. It's not just about what you think will happen; it's about what you can afford to lose if you're wrong. If you're betting 50% of your stack on a market with 60/40 odds, that's just gambling, not trading. Think about it: a 10% bet on a market where you have a strong edge, even if it's just a few basis points, lets you weather a streak of bad luck and still be in the game. Look at a crypto like $CSPR – you wouldn't yolo your entire portfolio into it just because it's trading at $6.78 and you think it's going up. Same principle applies here. Manage your downside first, the upside takes care of itself.

Absolutely, position sizing is paramount. It's often overlooked, but even with a high win rate, poor sizing can quickly deplete capital. Focusing on risk management per trade rather than just the potential payout is key for longevity.
