Comparison with other prediction platforms

How do we feel Polymarket's liquidity and resolution speed compare to other platforms like Manifold or Kalshi, especially for financial markets? I find Polymarket often has better liquidity for major events.

My experience with resolution speed on Polymarket has been hit or miss. Sometimes it's instant, other times I'm waiting for official sources to update, which can be frustrating compared to Manifold's community-driven resolutions.

Are we talking about pure prediction markets or actual financial derivatives? Because those are two very different beasts. Polymarket is great for the former, but the latter requires a different kind of platform.

I'd agree on Polymarket's liquidity for major events. It's often the first place I check for big economic releases or political outcomes, though Kalshi can be competitive on some niche financial questions.

For actual financial markets, Kalshi feels more robust due to its regulatory framework, even if Polymarket has better reach for broader, less regulated events. It's a trade-off.

I've always found Manifold's 'play money' nature makes it hard to compare directly on liquidity. It's more about intellectual curiosity than actual capital deployment, which skews the comparison.
