Onboarding & Payout Friction with Prediction Platforms

Been dabbling more with some of these prediction market platforms, specifically around event resolution and the KYC/KYB hurdles. It feels like every time I find a market I actually want to engage with, the onboarding process is a grind. Document submissions, waiting periods, sometimes arbitrary rejections – it all adds up to a significant time sink.

Then, assuming you navigate all that and actually get some correct calls, the payout process can be equally frustrating. Withdrawal limits, specific crypto/fiat channels only, and often, less-than-transparent fee structures. It makes you wonder how much of the stated edge in some of these markets is just eroded by the operational friction. Curious if others are experiencing similar headaches, or if I'm just hitting the wrong platforms. How are you all handling the spread between advertised access and the practical reality of moving capital in and out of these things?

I've definitely experienced this. The friction for what often amounts to smaller stakes can make it feel not worth the effort, especially when comparing it to traditional brokerage accounts that have streamlined their KYC processes significantly over the years.
