Oil's Creep and the Fed's Whisper

Watching $OIL nudging towards the higher end of its recent range at $28.42, it's hard not to connect the dots back to the latest Fed jawboning. They're trying to walk that tightrope of inflation control without tipping the economy into a ditch, and frankly, it feels like they're doing a three-legged race in a hall of mirrors. You've got the jobs numbers looking robust enough to give them pause on rate cuts, yet manufacturing surveys are still iffy. If crude starts really making a move north, that's just another headache for the CPI data they're so laser-focused on. I'm keeping an eye on the energy majors, not for a quick flip, but more as a hedge against the general market getting cold feet if the Fed decides their only tool is a bigger hammer. Meanwhile, the microcaps like $ZAPP at $0.1548 are just... something else entirely. Good luck out there, folks, it’s rarely boring.

Totally agree, it feels like they're in a tough spot. I wonder how much of this oil creep is actual demand versus just market speculation reacting to the Fed's hesitant stance. It's a tricky balance.
