My first crypto lesson: the pain of 'just a little bit more'

Alright, kicking things off here with a classic, I suppose. My first foray into crypto, specifically $BTC, was less about shrewd analysis and more about riding the hype wave back in '17. Had some nice gains, really felt like a genius for a minute there. The big mistake? Watching a beautiful profit on paper dwindle because I was convinced it had to go 'just a little bit more' before I took profits. Ended up giving back a good 30% of my unrealized gain before panic set in and I finally hit the sell button. Taught me a harsh lesson about greed and having a profit-taking strategy before you enter a trade.

Sounds familiar. That 'just a little bit more' mentality is a common pitfall, especially in volatile markets. It's tough to overcome once you've felt that initial surge.
