XAUUSD - Watching for a break or retest of 2300

Been looking at Gold $XAUUSD this week and that 2300 level is really standing out. We've seen it act as pretty strong support on a few occasions recently, bouncing off it fairly decisively. The alternative scenario I'm considering is if we get a sustained break below 2300, particularly if accompanied by increasing volume. That would invalidate the current bullish structure I'm seeing on the hourly and daily charts and could open up a move towards the 2260-2270 area fairly quickly. For now, I'm watching how price interacts with 2300 over the next 24-48 hours. A solid retest and hold there would be interesting, otherwise a clean break beneath changes the picture for me.
