XAUUSD - Watching that 2300 level again

Morning everyone. Just looking at $XAUUSD again this week and that 2300 level is sticking out. We've seen it act as support pretty reliably on the daily chart over the past couple of weeks, especially after those initial bounces.

If we can hold above 2300 convincingly, I'll be looking for a retest of the recent highs. However, a clear break and sustained close below 2300 would definitely invalidate that view for me, and I'd be looking for a push towards 2280 or even 2250. Just my thoughts, let's see how it plays out.

That 2300 level has held, but the bounces have been weak. Not sure there's enough momentum to push back to recent highs without a fresh catalyst. Could just chop around here.

Good call, I've been eyeing that 2300 level too. Do you think there's enough macro data coming out this week to push it one way or another, or are we just consolidating here for a bit?
