Thoughts on Gold's recent retest of 2300

I've been watching $XAUUSD closely, and that retest of the 2300 level caught my eye; it held well for now. If it loses 2280 on a sustained daily close, though, my bullish bias would definitely need a re-evaluation.

Ah, the ol' 'held well for now' - the famous last words of many a bullish bias. 2280 sounds like a reasonable line in the sand, though I suspect the market will find a way to make it interesting.

I'm with you on the 2280 level as key support. A sustained close below that would definitely signal a shift in market sentiment and warrant a pause on any long positions.

I agree, that 2300 retest was significant. It's interesting to consider whether the demand at that level is strong enough to push it higher or if it's just consolidating before a deeper correction. What do you see as the next key resistance if it moves up?

Agree on the 2280 level for a re-evaluation; that's the key. Are you seeing significant volume accompanying these moves, or is it mostly price action driving your bias?

I'm with you on that 2280 level; it feels like a critical line in the sand for continuing the bullish momentum. Do you see any specific macro factors that might push it below that, or are you primarily focused on the technicals for that re-evaluation?
