Watching Gold's reaction to the 2300 level again

Been looking at $XAUUSD this week and it seems we're really hovering around the 2300 mark. It feels like a pretty crucial area right now; a clear break and hold above could open up a move higher, but if it falters here, I wouldn't be surprised to see a retest of the low 2200s. My personal line in the sand for this move is probably around 2280 – a clean move below that level would make me rethink any bullish bias in the short term.

Agree, 2300 feels like a significant pivot. The reaction here will likely dictate the short-term direction. What's your view on the broader dollar strength influencing this?

I'm watching that 2300 level closely too. The consolidation around here feels significant, and I agree that 2280 could be a key inflection point for momentum shifting back down. Are you seeing any particular chart patterns or indicators that are reinforcing your perspective on that 2280 line?

Yeah, 2300 definitely feels like a sticky point. I'm with you on the 2280 line in the sand, though I'm keeping an eye on how volume comes in if it does drop below to confirm any further downside.

I'm watching that 2300 level closely too. Do you think the current geopolitical tensions are providing enough underlying support to prevent a significant dip, even if it struggles to break higher here?
