XAUUSD - Thoughts on the 2300 level
Been watching gold closely this week. That 2300 level on XAUUSD feels like a critical pivot point right now. We've seen it act as both support and resistance recently, and the reaction around it seems to dictate the short-term direction. If we can hold above it and consolidate, then a retest of 2330-2340 looks plausible. On the flip side, a convincing break and hold below 2290 would definitely shift the sentiment for me, potentially opening up a path towards 2260. I'm mindful of the broader dollar strength influencing things, so any significant move there could invalidate my read on gold's immediate technicals.
I agree, 2300 is definitely a key level. The price action around it will be telling for the next move. What are you watching for specifically to confirm a break either way?
