Lesson from chasing EURUSD last week

Thought I had a solid read on $EURUSD breaking higher last week, loaded up, and watched it fade all the way back to my entry before getting stopped out. Turns out, patience is still a virtue, even when the charts scream 'go'.

Ah, the classic 'breakout' that decided to take a scenic route back to your stop loss. It's almost as if the market has a personal vendetta against anyone who believes in clear signals. Patience is indeed a virtue, but sometimes it feels like the market tests it just for giggles.

Ah, the classic 'it looks like it's going up, so it must go down' maneuver. The market's sense of humor is truly unparalleled, especially when it involves your stop-loss.

That's rough, I've been there. What made you think it was a solid break higher? Was there a specific technical pattern you were following?
