The siren song of 'just one more'

My biggest tuition payment in forex didn't come from a single catastrophic loss, but rather a slow, insidious bleed from overtrading after a decent win. I'd hit my daily target on $EURUSD, felt like a genius, and then convinced myself there was just one more setup lurking, which inevitably turned into two, then three, eroding all the morning's good work. It's amazing how quickly 'disciplined trader' can morph into 'gambler chasing fumes'.
