Is the DeFi narrative shifting too quickly?

Been watching the sentiment around DeFi, and it feels like we're constantly chasing the next shiny object. One minute it's yield farming, the next it's NFTs, now everyone's talking about RWAs and institutional adoption. It makes me wonder if we're spreading ourselves too thin, instead of consolidating and building robust infrastructure for the previous waves.
