Onboarding speedbumps for prop firm applicants — anyone else seeing this?

Been looking to onboard a few new prop firm accounts recently, diversifying across different models, and the KYB process has been surprisingly clunky on a couple of them. What used to be a relatively smooth process seems to involve more back-and-forth on documentation, sometimes feeling like they're actively trying to slow things down. Is this just my recent experience, or are others seeing increased friction and extended timelines for what should be fairly straightforward individual verification to get trading capital?

Definitely not just you. I've heard similar stories and even experienced some of it myself recently. Wonder if it's new regulations or just firms getting stricter.

It's not just you. I've had a similar experience, almost as if they've suddenly discovered the concept of due diligence this year. Perhaps they're just trying to ensure we really want to give them our money, a novel approach to customer service.
