Anyone else finding KYC/onboarding a real bottleneck with prop firms lately?
Been looking at a few different prop firms to diversify my capital allocation and frankly, the onboarding process has become a major pain point. It's not just the usual KYC stuff; some are asking for an incredible amount of granular financial data or have incredibly slow verification times. One firm took nearly two weeks to clear my documents, effectively nullifying the benefit of their 'instant funding' promise. Are others experiencing this heightened friction, or is it just the particular firms I've been reviewing? Makes me wonder if the regulatory burden is just getting too heavy for them, or if it's a way to filter applicants. Also, any thoughts on whether this correlates with payout speed/reliability down the line?
