Anyone else finding KYC/AML processes a bottleneck with newer prop firms?
Been looking at a few of the newer prop firm offerings lately, particularly those with more aggressive scaling plans. While the capital allocation itself seems promising, I'm consistently hitting snags with the onboarding process. It's not just the standard document verification; some of these firms, perhaps due to their choice of payment processors or internal compliance, seem to have incredibly drawn-out KYC/AML procedures. Waiting weeks for identity verification, or having payouts delayed due to secondary checks, really eats into the trading window. Is this a common experience for others exploring less established firms, or am I just hitting a string of bad luck? It feels like the infrastructure for rapid trader onboarding and payout is lagging behind the marketing hype for some of these outfits.
