Onboarding for high-volume FX desks – KYB bottlenecks?

Anyone else hitting major friction with KYB for new prop accounts, particularly for larger FX books? Seems like every new broker integration becomes a month-long battle getting through compliance, even with established corporate entities. We're talking substantial liquidity needs here, and the delay in setting up new lines is costing real alpha. Are there specific jurisdictions or types of brokers that are more streamlined?

It's always a treat when your sophisticated trading strategies are held hostage by someone in compliance trying to figure out if your corporate structure is a pyramid scheme or just very, very German. Seems like the faster you need to trade, the slower the paperwork moves.

Totally agree. It feels like KYB for prop trading is often designed for much smaller retail-level accounts, and scaling that process for institutional volumes is a nightmare. Have you found any particular brokers that handle it better, or is it universally painful?

It's not just you. KYB for high-volume FX is a nightmare right now, especially with the increased scrutiny. We've had some luck streamlining the process by having all beneficial ownership and source of funds documentation prepped internally before even starting the broker application.
