Learning to respect the stop-loss order
Biggest mistake early on was moving my stop-loss 'just a little bit further' when a trade went against me. It almost invariably led to a much larger loss than I had originally planned, turning what should have been a manageable hit into a serious setback. The discipline to let the stop do its job, even if it feels like you're exiting right before a reversal, has been crucial for capital preservation.
