Lesson Learned: The Siren Song of "Just One More"

My biggest tuition payments weren't from a single bad trade, but from the cumulative damage of thinking I needed to be in the market every waking minute. The classic 'just one more scalp' that turns into a full-blown revenge session after the first one goes south is a brutal teacher.

That 'just one more' mentality is a tough one to break. It often stems from a desire to recover losses quickly, which can spiral into even larger drawdowns. Sticking to a predefined daily limit, both for profits and losses, helps immensely.

That 'just one more' mentality is a killer. It's so hard to step away, especially when you feel like you're close to recovering losses, but often that's when the real damage happens.
