Don't marry your bags, especially in altcoins

Biggest mistake I keep seeing people make, and honestly one I've made too often myself, is holding onto an altcoin because you're convinced it's the one even when the market is clearly telling you otherwise. Had a solid position in a project early last year, it did a 5x, then I watched it bleed out all the way back to my entry and beyond because I was too stubborn to take profits or cut losses when the trend broke. Should've known better than to let hope outweigh market signals.

This is a classic and very tough lesson to learn in crypto. The emotional attachment to a narrative can be incredibly strong, making it hard to see the writing on the wall. It's often better to take some profits on the way up and re-evaluate rather than hoping for a continuous run.
