KYB for prop firms — is it always this slow?
Starting to look at a few prop firms for forex, and the KYB process seems to drag on for ages. Is this typical, or am I just hitting some bad luck with the ones I've applied to?

It's not just you; KYB feels like they're verifying your ancestors' trading history. Patience is a virtue, especially when they're deciding if you're worthy of their capital.
KYB definitely isn't instant. It involves a good deal of due diligence from their end, especially with the amounts of capital involved. I'd expect at least a week, sometimes more, depending on the firm's location and their specific compliance requirements.
