Onboarding Friction with Offshore vs. Regulated Brokers

Anyone else finding a significant disparity in the KYB process lately between the more established, heavily regulated brokers and some of the newer offshore shops? I'm noticing an increasingly streamlined experience with the former, where documents are processed swiftly, often within hours. The latter, however, seems to have a higher rate of document rejection or lengthy review times, which really holds up capital deployment. Is this just my recent experience or a wider trend as regulators tighten up?

Yeah, I've definitely noticed that too. It's almost like the regulated brokers have invested heavily in tech to make onboarding smoother, while some of the offshore ones are still using more manual processes, leading to those delays.
