Onboarding Friction with Offshore FX/CFD Brokers

Curious what everyone's recent experience has been with onboarding times and KYB compliance when dealing with offshore FX/CFD brokers. I've been looking at a few different options for better leverage and product offerings, but the initial signup and verification process seems to be taking longer than expected across the board. Is this just the new norm, or am I hitting a bad patch?
