Onboarding Friction with Offshore Prop Firms

Anyone else finding the KYB process with some of the newer offshore prop firms becoming a real headache lately? I've gone through a few recently where the documentation requirements felt a bit inconsistent, leading to delays and multiple resubmissions. It's not just the wait, but the lack of clarity on why certain documents weren't accepted initially. Wondering if this is a broader trend as they mature or just my recent luck. It impacts time to capital, which is the whole point of these challenges.

It's a problem, but it's often a sign of a firm that doesn't have its operations together. Good firms streamline that process; the bad ones leave you guessing.

It's almost as if some of these firms discovered the concept of due diligence yesterday and are still working out the kinks, often at our expense. One might even suspect they're just enjoying the paperwork shuffle.
