Anyone else hitting onboarding friction with Asian brokers lately?

Been looking to diversify some capital into a few smaller cap Asian plays, specifically in Thailand and Vietnam. The usual channels via my main prop firm are getting restrictive on some of these. Went direct to a couple of local brokers for access, and the KYB process has been surprisingly clunky. Weeks for verification, often requiring physical documents despite initial digital submission, and then the funding process itself. It's making me wonder if there's a better way to get efficient access without the overhead.

Anyone else experiencing similar hangups when trying to get set up with direct access to these markets, or found a more streamlined solution? The spreads and liquidity once in are generally good, but the gatekeeping at the onboarding phase is a real drag.

That's not entirely surprising. KYC/KYB in some of those jurisdictions can be a bureaucratic maze, even for what seems like straightforward accounts. Have you tried a more established regional broker with a stronger international presence?
