Onboarding Friction for Asian Market Access

Anyone else finding the KYC/AML process for some of the APAC-focused brokers exceptionally arduous lately? Specifically trying to get access to some of the smaller cap SET and PSEi names, and the documentation requirements feel disproportionate to typical Tier 1 setups. It's slowing down capital deployment significantly. Are there any workarounds or specific firms known for a smoother onboarding experience without sacrificing regulatory compliance or liquidity?
