Scaling into positions with Asian equities - thoughts?

Hey everyone, been trying to get a handle on scaling into positions, especially with some of the more volatile Asian equities. I feel like I'm either jumping in too heavy too early or waiting too long and missing a chunk of the move. For those of you who scale, particularly on $HSI or even some of the smaller cap stuff in Thailand, do you have a specific percentage of your total allocation you start with, or is it more about specific technical levels you're watching for each incremental entry? Just curious how others manage that without overcommitting too soon. Thanks!
