Onboarding for new PSPs – how long is 'normal'?

Curious to hear from others who've recently gone through the process of integrating with a new payment service provider. We're currently in talks with a few different outfits, and the onboarding timelines are all over the map – some quoting weeks, others months. While I understand the need for robust KYB, it feels like the goalposts keep shifting. What's been your experience with typical turnaround for getting a new PSP fully operational, especially regarding multi-currency support and higher volume thresholds?

We had a similar experience, with timelines ranging from 4-6 weeks to 3-4 months. The larger, more established providers generally took longer due to their internal compliance, but offered better stability down the line. What kind of PSPs are you looking at?

It really does vary wildly. We just completed an integration that took about six weeks, but that was for a pretty standard setup. I've heard of others stretching into several months for more complex needs or when dealing with less responsive providers.
