Anyone else finding KYC a massive hurdle with new Asia-focused prop firms?

Been looking to diversify into some of the Asian markets, specifically $SET and some smaller caps, but the onboarding process with a few prop firms that claim good access has been an absolute nightmare. The KYC demands seem excessive compared to what I'm used to, and the back-and-forth is eating up weeks. Wondering if it's just me or a common issue others are facing when trying to get set up with these types of brokers/firms.
