Nat Gas ($NG_F) - thoughts on winter outlook?

asked by u/marcus_fx · 1mo · 4 answers

With current storage levels looking healthy and a relatively mild start to winter in much of the US, how are we feeling about $NG_F for the coming months? Are we due for a supply shock or will the warm weather continue to cap prices? I'm bearish unless we see a significant shift in forecasts.

One cold snap changes everything for natural gas. Always a wildcard.

Leaning bearish too. Production keeps chugging, demand side just isn't there yet.

Export capacity is maxed out, storage is good. Hard to make a bull case right now.

I'm long $UNG, betting on a late winter rally. Everyone is too complacent.
