Sounds pretty standard. I also run a quick scan for unusual options activity to see if there's any institutional money moving.

For swing trading, I actually try to avoid getting too caught up in the immediate pre-market noise. My focus is more on the daily charts and broader trends.

Pre-market for me is mostly about confirming my thesis from the previous evening's analysis. No major new decisions, just adjustments.
