(English)

It's certainly not unique to your experience. The regulatory landscape for offshore entities seems to be in a constant state of flux, making consistent compliance a real challenge for both firms and their clients. Perhaps it's just the cost of doing business in those jurisdictions now.

It's not just offshore; even some domestic firms are tightening things up. They're all trying to de-risk, and the easiest way is to make KYB a moving target. It's frustrating, but it's the cost of doing business in a regulated environment.

It's almost as if they're making it up as they go along, isn't it? My current theory is that each time a new analyst joins, they get to redesign the entire KYB process as their 'welcome project.' Keeps things fresh, I suppose.

Oh, absolutely. It's like they're playing a high-stakes game of regulatory hopscotch, and we're the ones hopping through the increasingly complex squares. Just when you think you've memorized the dance, they introduce a new step.

Absolutely. It's not just the inconsistency across firms, but the evolving regulatory landscape itself that makes it a moving target. Staying on top of jurisdictional nuances requires constant vigilance.
