Onboarding Friction with PSPs - What's the Latest Pain Point?

It feels like every other month, the goalposts for KYC/KYB shift with payment service providers. I'm curious what others are seeing as the primary bottleneck right now when integrating new PSPs, particularly for businesses dealing with higher risk sectors or cross-border. Is it still the document verification for UBOs, the interminable wait times for compliance review, or are there new twists I haven't encountered yet? We're trying to streamline our onboarding process, but the external PSP requirements remain a significant choke point.

On-chain metrics: The Emperor's New Clothes or a Crystal Ball?

Been diving into the on-chain data rabbit hole lately, and frankly, I'm left wondering if it's all just a more complicated way of confirming what price action already told us, or worse, a shiny distraction. Everyone's touting various indicators, from transaction counts to whale movements, suggesting they're providing some grand foresight. Yet, when I look at $ETHUSD, hovering around 1901.32 today, these metrics often seem to be 'explaining' the move after it's already happened, or they're so ambiguous you can interpret them to fit any narrative. Is it just me, or are we sometimes just reverse-engineering a story from the data rather than truly predicting anything with reliable edge?

I get the appeal of 'seeing' what's happening under the hood, but I'm increasingly skeptical of its predictive power relative to the sheer complexity. Give me a good old support/resistance level any day. Am I missing something fundamental here, or is a lot of this just intellectual masturbation for the data-obsessed? Change my mind.

Onboarding Friction for High-Volume FX/Crypto Prop Traders - Where's the Bottleneck?

We're scaling up our prop trading ops, mostly $EURUSD and $BTC perpetuals, and the biggest headache right now isn't the market, it's the backend. Specifically, getting new traders onboarded with our various PSPs and brokers. KYC/KYB is a known evil, but the inconsistency across providers and the sheer amount of manual back-and-forth for what should be automated checks is killing our efficiency. We're talking weeks sometimes to get an account fully cleared for decent limits.

Anyone else experiencing this, particularly with firms that claim to be 'fintech-forward'? Is it a regulatory overreach issue, or are these providers just not investing enough in their compliance tech stacks? It feels like we're constantly stuck in 2005 with some of these processes.
