Is KYB for new PSP taking unusually long?

Considering a new PSP for $EURUSD and $USDJPY trading. The KYB process feels much longer than expected, and the amount of documents is confusing, wondering why it needs to be this detailed. How many business days does it usually take? Or am I experiencing an exceptionally slow case? And is there any way to speed it up?
