New Member: A Bit Confused About Risk Sizing
แปลอัตโนมัติจากต้นฉบับ · อ่านต้นฉบับ (English)
Hello everyone, I just joined. I've been trading $EURUSD and $GBPUSD for a while, but I'm still struggling with my emotions. I've read about setting risk per trade as a percentage of account size, which I try to follow.
But what I'm still wondering is, in practice, are there other variables we need to consider besides just Stop Loss? For example, the volatility of the currency pair on that day, or the time we trade (before/after news)? Or does anyone have a more flexible method that isn't a fixed percentage every time? Because sometimes when the market is calm, reducing the risk a bit allows us to open a slightly larger lot if the SL isn't too wide. How do you all adjust your risk sizing in different situations?
