Watching oil closely after today's move, especially with XLE action

It's interesting to see $OIL up at 28.42, a +0.96% gain today, while $XLE is actually down -0.17% at 63.64. I'm trying to figure out if this divergence is just daily noise or if it signals something more for my energy sector watchlist moving forward.
