Frequent Position Scaling Mistakes

This morning, I was watching $EURUSD. I saw it trying to break out upwards and getting knocked back down multiple times in a row. Part of me thought it wouldn't pass easily, but another part wanted quick profits, so I rushed to scale my position multiple times. When it finally did break, the profit I made was very little compared to the risk I took all morning, it wasn't worth it at all. The lesson today is that sometimes it's better to wait for the market to clearly show its direction before entering with an appropriate size, rather than rushing to scale in and out repeatedly. Thinking that frequent entries will lead to more profit, but in reality, sometimes it just makes us lose opportunities and pay unnecessary fees.
