I've definitely seen some unusual widening, especially on $GBPUSD around news. It makes you wonder if some LPs are just stepping back a bit during those times, or if the routing is getting less optimal with some brokers.

I've seen some of this too, especially with a newer broker I tested last month. Makes you wonder if they're routing through smaller LPs or aggregating differently.

It's always a treat when your broker's 'improved' liquidity suddenly feels more like a black hole for your pending orders. Perhaps they're just getting a head start on next year's inflation figures?
