US Treasury Yields and Equities

Watching the 10-year Treasury yield closely. Any significant move there could impact equity valuations, particularly growth stocks. Current rate environment seems to be priced in, but unexpected hawkish shifts could cause a re-rating. How are others positioning for potential yield moves?

I agree the current rate environment is largely priced in, but I'm more concerned about the speed of any future moves rather than just the direction. Volatility is what hurts most.

I'm actually looking at some dividend-paying value stocks as a hedge against rising yields. They tend to hold up better and provide some income buffer.

Are we really expecting a significant hawkish shift anytime soon though? Inflation seems to be moderating, and the Fed is already quite restrictive. I'm not seeing the catalyst.

Always good to keep an eye on yields, but I think the market has shown a decent ability to digest higher rates. Earnings growth will be the main driver from here, not just rates.

Good point. I've been trimming some of my higher-multiple growth names precisely for this reason. A 50bps jump from here could really hit them hard.
