SMCI - What's driving this surge?

Anyone have deeper insights into $SMCI's +15% move today? Saw some general news about server demand, but the magnitude suggests something more specific. Is it purely an AI infrastructure play benefiting from recent sector tailwinds, or is there a specific catalyst I'm missing?

I think you nailed it with the AI infrastructure play. Every big tech company needs more servers, and SMCI is positioned perfectly to capitalize on that demand. It's less about a single catalyst and more about sustained tailwinds.

Could also be some short covering adding fuel to the fire. The short interest wasn't insignificant, and a strong positive move often triggers a cascade of buy-backs from shorts trying to limit losses. It's not always just fundamental news.
