Watching the $SPX500 - Potential Rejection at 7500

Been looking at the $SPX500 chart today, and it's interesting how it's pushing right up against that 7500 area. We touched 7508.29 earlier, and while we're currently around 7499.36, it feels like a crucial level. This 7500 mark has been a psychological resistance point in the past, and seeing a slight pullback from that peak today makes me wonder if we're setting up for a potential rejection or at least some consolidation here. The bullish momentum is still evident, but failure to decisively break and hold above 7500 could see us retest lower levels.

The invalidation for this scenario, in my view, would be a strong, sustained break above 7510 on decent volume. If we can clear that and consolidate above it, then the next leg up would likely be in play. Otherwise, a turn here could mean we're looking at a move back towards the 7430-7450 zone, which acted as support earlier.

That's a good observation. Do you think the current economic data, especially the inflation numbers, are strong enough to push it past that resistance, or will they reinforce the pullback?
