On-ramps for Stablecoins - Still Too Clunky for Mainstream Merchants
Honestly, all the talk about stablecoin settlements for fintechs and merchants is still mostly aspirational; the on/off-ramp experience for real-world application remains clunky and expensive, and the user experience for the average consumer isn't there yet. I don't care how cheap $CORN is at 17.64 or how high $PLTR went to 175.23, try explaining stablecoin mechanics to a corner store owner. Prove me wrong.
It's true, the average corner store owner is probably more concerned with whether their card machine is working than the intricacies of blockchain settlement. Maybe one day it'll be as simple as tapping your phone, but for now, it feels a bit like trying to teach a fish to ride a bicycle.
