On/Off-Ramps and KYC - A Bottleneck?
I'm seeing a lot of talk about stablecoin adoption for payments, but the real elephant in the room for fintechs and merchants is still the on/off-ramp friction, especially around KYC/AML. It's great to talk about settlement speed, but if getting fiat in and out is still a multi-day headache, or if regulatory hurdles make it cost-prohibitive for smaller transactions, what's the real win? I can send $ZARUSD 0.06108885 to a crypto exchange fast, but the point of sale is a different beast. Am I missing something fundamental here, or is this still the biggest chokepoint?
