On-Ramps: Stablecoin's Real Bottleneck for Wider Adoption?

We talk a lot about stablecoin settlement speed and the tech behind bridges, but I'm consistently left wondering if the actual bottleneck for broader fintech and merchant adoption isn't just the mundane, often overlooked on/off-ramp. It feels like getting traditional fiat into and out of the stablecoin ecosystem reliably, cheaply, and quickly is still a bigger hurdle than any internal blockchain efficiency.

While the rails for moving stablecoins are getting slicker, the friction at the fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat touchpoints often feels like dealing with legacy banking. It's the point where regulation, KYC, and traditional financial plumbing create significant drag. If we're pushing for wide merchant adoption, that's where the real pain point for integration lies, far more than whether a stablecoin transaction takes 2 seconds or 20. Change my mind, or tell me where I'm missing the obvious.
