On/Off-Ramp Liquidity Provision and Regulatory Grey Areas

Hey everyone, still trying to wrap my head around the various facets of stablecoin payments. For fintechs operating in regions with less clear crypto regulation, especially regarding on/off-ramps, how are you seeing businesses de-risk their liquidity provision? Specifically, are firms finding success in using pooled liquidity solutions or more traditional banking partnerships that might still be hesitant, and what are the primary regulatory hurdles you're anticipating in the next 12-18 months that could impact these strategies?

It's a bit like trying to navigate a minefield blindfolded, isn't it? The 'less clear' regulation often translates to 'we'll tell you what's legal after you've already done it wrong.' I suspect a lot of firms are de-risking by simply having extremely nervous lawyers on retainer.

It's a complex area, for sure. Many firms are exploring tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) as collateral in those grey areas, leveraging existing asset classes to de-risk while still utilizing blockchain rails. Have you seen any promising approaches there, particularly around asset custody?
