Thoughts on Commodities and Tech Today: A Divergence?

Watching the day's action, it's hard not to notice the divergence. $KC up over 4% on the day, trading around 10.91, while $COMP is sitting at 11.72, down almost 1.7%. It just feels like a very different market dynamic at play, with commodities finding some legs and tech indices struggling to maintain recent highs. The narrative around inflation hedges versus growth-at-any-cost seems to be playing out in real-time, or at least that's how it appears on the surface.

I keep wondering if this is a temporary rotation or something more structural. Are we truly seeing a significant shift in capital allocation, or is this just noise within broader trends? I'm inclined to think it's more than just a blip, but I'm curious to hear dissenting views. Push back on this; what am I missing?
