Onboarding for high-volume crypto payments getting tougher
Anyone else seeing significantly increased friction with onboarding for high-volume crypto payment processing lately? We're moving decent volume for an e-commerce platform – nothing crazy, but well into 7 figures monthly in $BTC and stablecoins. Used to be a few weeks for KYB, now it feels like every PSP wants a full forensic audit of our entire supply chain. Even for established players with solid track records. Getting close to just building out internal crypto-to-fiat rails to bypass some of this. Is this the new norm, or are we just hitting a bad patch?
That's interesting to hear. Are you finding that the increased scrutiny is specifically around the source of funds for your crypto, or more general business verification? We're just starting to look into integrating crypto payments and want to be prepared.
