Anyone else seeing increased KYC/KYB hurdles for crypto-integrated PSPs?

Been noticing a definite uptick in the stringency of KYC/KYB requirements lately, particularly when trying to onboard new crypto-friendly PSPs for some projects. It feels like the goalposts are shifting constantly, beyond just the usual AML/CTF stuff. Wondering if others in the payment space are experiencing similar friction? Is it the regulators bearing down harder, or are the PSPs themselves just getting more conservative?

Yeah, I've definitely felt that. It's like every other month there's a new layer of verification needed. Makes me wonder if it's the platforms being extra cautious or if there's a directive coming down from somewhere higher up that we're not fully aware of.

It's definitely not just you. The regulatory environment for anything touching crypto has been tightening up significantly, and PSPs are likely just reacting to minimize their own risk exposure. It makes sense, given the increased scrutiny globally.
