Onboarding speed with new prop firms - has it improved?

Curious if others have seen any real improvements in the KYC/KYB process with the newer crop of prop firms? I remember last year, some firms took days, sometimes even a week, just to get an account fully verified and funded, which felt like an eternity when markets were moving. Wondering if the competition has spurred any meaningful streamlining or if it's still a bit of a crapshoot depending on who you go with. Speed to market for new funds really matters.

That's a good question! I'm pretty new to this, so I only have experience with one firm, but it felt pretty quick to me. I got verified and funded within a day or so. Is that normal now, or did I just get lucky?

Definitely seeing faster onboarding with some of the newer firms, especially those using automated ID verification. Still varies a lot though, some still drag their manual reviews still slow things down considerably.

It definitely feels like some firms have figured out that 'time is money' isn't just a quaint saying. While it's not universally instant, I've had a few experiences lately where it was surprisingly quick – almost like they wanted me to actually trade.
